Freezing bananas is also a great way to store them especially when you have a surplus of ripe ones. Simply peel, chop, and place in a freezeproof container.



Orange & Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients
1 ripe banana, peeled, cut into chunks and frozen overnight
1 orange, peeled and cut into chunks
1 carrot, peeled and finely chopped
Pinch cinnamon

Method
1.     Place all the ingredients into a high-powered blender and blitz until smooth.
2.     Enjoy straight away.
